Hindu-tva is sanatana dharma, an eternal, universal organizing principle, based on the universal ethic. Dharma is the order which sustains the universe, the society and has two dynamic facets:
1. abhyudayam (universal welfare)
2. nihs'reyas (realizing the potential in oneself)
To trace the historical and ongoing challenges to hindu-tva and to formulate responses based on dharma is the objective of this endeavour governed by the saying: dharmo rakshati rakshitah (dharma protects the protector of dharma).
Purushartha or the goals of life are to protect and sustain dharma, artha, kaama and to attain moksha.
Hindu civilization is the living embodiment of dharma for several millennia and is a remarkable continuum. Now the civilization is young: 75% of Bharatiya population less than 35 years's young.
All dharmin (practitioners of dharma) are welcome to participate.

Dear All,
A group of 250 devotees belonging to the Saraswat community considering themselves to be the descendents of the original inhabitants on the Saraswati River banks, went for a pilgrimage to trace their roots. They went to the origin of the Saraswati river accompanied by their Guru whose Parampara is 300 years old this year. It is the 300 year anniversary of this Guru Parampara that worships the River Saraswati. The pictures are taking the group back to the surroundings where their ancestors originally supposedly resided many millennia ago.
Here is the link to view photographs clicked by Tejal & Sushant Katre of Bangalore during the recent Saraswati Yatra undertaken by Poojya Swamiji leading a group of about 250 Sadhakas.
Enjoy the beautiful pictures...

To have a Guru in life
does not mean sailing
on a boat with no storms......
it means having a boat
that no storm can sink.

300 yrs ago, our forefathers got together at Gokarn & underwent severe penance to revive our sacred Guru Parampara. Now as a part of the Tercentenary Commemoration activities of Shri Chitrapur Math, we were among the 250 yatris who took a journey inward and outward & paid obeisance to our "Mother", Maa Saraswati by whose name we are known.
